Venancia Catay Tabaco
In Memoriam
Venancia Catay Tabaco of New Hyde Park, NY, passed away on June 10th, 2002. She was born on May 18th, 1922 in Ubujan, Tagbilaran, Bohol, Philippines, and arrived in New York City in 1947.
She was the devoted wife of Natalio Dahab Tabaco, the beloved mother of Joseph, JoAnne Coluuci, Robert, Alexander, Carlos, Angelina Moore, Frances Molina, Esther Costanzo, Mary Jean DelFranco and Gail Ann Obrien, loving grandmother of Jonathan, Peter, Anisa, Nicole, Brendan, Aubrey, Stephanie, Joanne, James, Jason, Justin, Victoria, Anthony, Michael, Joseph, Rachael, Robert, Thomas, Matthew and Grace, and, great-grandmother to Ryan and Julia.

The wake was held from Tuesday, June 11 to Wednesday, June 12 at:
Mass was held by the Rev. George J. Stack on Thursday, June 13 at:
A separate mass held by the Rev. Msgr. Siloy Darunday, had been arranged thru Jean Darunday, in Ubujan District Chapel, Tagabilaran City, Philippines, and a wake was hosted at the home of Victoria Mejares, Venancia’s sister. A Collective Mass was offered for Venancia Tabaco, among others, on Sunday, June 23, 2002 at 11:45AM at Our Lady of the Snows. This mass was pledged by Paul & Val-anne Sadicario. A special Mass was offered by Rev. Fr. Josemaria S. Luengo for the repose of the soul of Venancia Tabaco on Monday, July 1st, 2002 at 8PM at 80-24 Langdale St, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. |
