Activated on 15 Oct 1947. Inactivated on 21 Feb 1951. Redesignated 373d Bombardment Squadron (Medium) on 4 Oct 1951. Activated on 10 Oct 1951. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 25 Jun 1961. Redesignated 373d Strategic Missile Squadron, and activated, on 29 Nov 1961. Organized on 1 Apr 1962.
